FAT BEARD’s The Watching Dead Parties hosted by the cast of Evil Dead the Musical in Las Vegas Comes to Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub in Henderson!
LAS VEGAS – March 10, 2015 – FAT BEARD is taking their long-running viewing party and zombie-themed costume contest, The Watching Dead, to Henderson’s neighborhood home-style bar and grill, Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub, for the season five finale of television’s most popular zombie drama on Sunday, March 29th at 8PM. The Watching Dead is presented by FAT BEARD, sponsored by Henderson Hyundai and Ninkasi Brewing Company, and hosted by the cast of Evil Dead the Musical in Las Vegas, Sirc Michaels’ award-winning production at Planet Hollywood’s V Theater.
Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub is an open and friendly non-smoking environment with over 100 beer options (including craft beers), a full menu of homemade British specialties, and gaming. During the event there will be plenty of food and drink specials and the cast of Evil Dead the Musical will be in full costume providing photo ops for all the fans in attendance. Henderson Hyundai will have their Hyundai Tucson The Walking Dead Special Edition with Zombie Survival Kit onsite for fans to test drive and Ninkasi Brewing Company will hold a raffle that patrons can participate in by purchasing a $3 pint of their Dawn of the Red on draft.
“When I started these viewing parties back in 2011 I never imagined they’d become as big as they have,” says Danny Ballard, founder of FAT BEARD. “The fact that I’m working with Evil Dead the Musical and that I literally have bars compete over having us host these parties at their venues is extremely humbling.”
In addition to FAT BEARD, the cast of Evil Dead the Musical in Las Vegas, Henderson Hyundai, and Ninkasi Brewing Company, the party will also include booths from several local artists and vendors with a variety of unique and hard-to-find zombie-related merchandise, art, and apparel available for purchase. During commercial breaks fans will have the opportunity to win prizes by answering trivia questions from Sirc Michaels and after the show there will be a zombie-themed costume contest. FAT BEARD encourages any and everyone to come out dressed in their favorite undead, horror, or zombie-related costumes. Prizes will include zombie-themed merchandise, tickets to Evil Dead the Musical in Las Vegas, Shakespeare’s Grille gift cards, exclusive artwork from local Las Vegas artists, and much more.
